KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA ITEM STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 20, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing on September 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm <br />local time to consider Equipment surplus to Kittitas County's needs <br />and authorize disposal of same in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />BACKGROUND: The following equipment is surplus to the county's needs: <br />E.R. & R. #189 2009 Intnl 760/TM Dump Truck <br />VIN #1HTWXAHT59J108392 <br />The Department of Public Works requests that a Public Hearing be <br />held on September 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm local time to declare the <br />above -listed equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize <br />disposal of same. The Department of Public Works plans to surplus <br />the equipment in accordance with RCW 36.34.080. <br />Equipment replacement was covered by Public Works funds in 2024. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for September 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm local time <br />to consider equipment surplus to the county's needs and authorize <br />disposal of same. <br />HANDLING: Department of Public Works. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing. <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Public Works Director. <br />
