KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: July 16, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for August 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm to <br />consider an Irrigation Franchise with Clint Weaver along Robbins <br />Road, Ellensburg. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works received a Franchise Application for <br />private irrigation facilities to be placed within the County right-of- <br />way. The franchise application is for the placement of a pipe under <br />Robbins Road to serve irrigation water to Parcel No. 954751 and <br />Parcel No. 962837. Upon approval of the irrigation franchise, a <br />right of way permit will be required to conduct the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete, and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for August 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider an Irrigation Franchise with Clint Weaver <br />along Robbins Road, Ellensburg. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing. <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson <br />Director of Public Works <br />
