BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COTINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RES oLUrroN No. 2024 - I al <br />AUTHORIZING ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES TO BE <br />PERFORMED BY J-U-B ENGINEERING FOR THE BOWERS FIELD EAST TAXILANE <br />PAVEMENT REHABILITATION AI{D APRON RECONFIGURATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS: J-U-B Engineers is cumently the service provider to Public Works for projects at <br />Bowers Field selected from County procurement process in2023; and <br />WHEREAS: Construction of the East Taxilane Pavement Rehabilitation and Apron <br />Reconfiguration project will occur this year; and <br />WHEREAS: Engineering construction support is required to comply with the Federal Aviation <br />Administration grant requirements and regulations; and <br />WHEREAS: J-U-B Engineers has submitted a task order for said project in the amount of <br />$99,610.00; and <br />WHEREAS: Funding for this task is through Federal Aviation Administration grant with a l0 <br />percent County match. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Director of Public Works to <br />sign contract documents with J-U-B Engineers to perform engineering <br />Construction support services for the Bowers Field East Taxilane Pavement <br />Rehabilitation and Apron Reconfi guration project. <br />DATED on this 2nd day of July 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COUNTY ONERS <br />KITTITAS COLINTY ASHINGTON <br />!
