KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 18, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Authorize Advertisement for a Request for Statement of <br />Qualifications soliciting qualified firms for the provision of high- <br />speed broadband internet service in the County. <br />BACKGROUND: Funding for deployment of broadband services to areas within the <br />County has been made available through the Washington State <br />Broadband Office. Public Works has been working with the County's <br />broadband consultant for development of this phase. Public Works is <br />now prepared to solicit for statement of qualifications from firms <br />qualified to perform the work. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Advertisement of a Statement of Qualifications soliciting <br />qualified firms for the provision of high-speed broadband internet <br />service in the County. <br />HANDLING: Return One original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Request for Statement of Qualifications; Statement of <br />Qualifications <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson, Director <br />
