Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />6/4/2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve the Resolution to Award the Kittitas County Correctional Facility Parking Lot & North Lot <br />Charging Station Project. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Kittitas County solicited bids for the Kittitas County Correctional Facility Parking Lot & North Lot <br />Charging Station Project and sealed bids were received on May 23, 2024. <br /> <br />Seven (7) bids were received for the project. The engineer for this project was SCJ Alliance and they have <br />reviewed the bid and recommend award to the lowest responsive bid which was received from Hurst <br />Construction LLC., in the amount of $840,793.17 including sales tax. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Maintenance, Prosecutor, and SCJ Alliance. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Board of County Commissioner approval of the Resolution to Award the Kittitas County Correctional <br />Facility Parking Lot & North Lot Charging Station Project. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />Return copy of Resolution to Maintenance. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Stacey <br />
