KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 4th, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve PSA for A1 Asbestos to remove asbestos <br />containing material from the auditor’s office. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br /> The flooring in the storage room in the auditor’s office needs to be <br />replaced. The current flooring is known to contain asbestos and needs <br />abatement before carpet tiles can be placed. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br /> The Prosecutor’s office has reviewed the proposed PSA. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Recommending Board signature for the PSA between A1 Asbestos <br />and Kittitas County to provide asbestos abatement services in the <br />auditor’s office after courthouse working hours. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – Auditor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> PSA for A1 Asbestos and Kittitas County <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Cody Cupp <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
