KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 4, 2024 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing for July 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm to <br />consider an Irrigation Franchise with Lathan and Lacey Wedin <br />along South Lookout Mountain Drive. <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Public Works received a Franchise Application for <br />private irrigation facilities to be placed within the County rights - <br />of -way. The franchise application is requesting to provide for the <br />placement of a pipe under South Lookout Mountain Drive to serve <br />irrigation water to Parcel No. 682133. Upon approval of the <br />irrigation franchise, a right of way permit will be required to <br />conduct the proposed work. <br />The Franchise Application is complete, and the appropriate <br />application fee has been collected. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing for July 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm and advertise <br />accordingly, to consider an Irrigation Franchise with Lathan and <br />Lacey Wedin along South Lookout Mountain Drive. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing. <br />LEAD STAFF: Josh Fredrickson <br />Director of Public Works <br />
