KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAF'F REPORT <br />May 7,2024 <br />Request to Set a Public Hearing for May 2I,2024, <br />at2:00 pm local time to consider a Lease with Jason <br />Hone for property located at the Kittitas County <br />Airport, Bowers Field. <br />BACKGROUND: <br />INTERACTION: <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />HANDLING: <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Jason Hone has requested to lease Lot H l4-B of the <br />Bowers Field Binding Site Plan for the purpose of <br />constructing a private airplane hangar. The lease <br />rate is set at $ 0.16 per square foot for the standard <br />lease term of thirty (30) years. The Prosecuting <br />Attorney's Office has reviewed the agreement and <br />have addressed the questions Mr. Hone had <br />regarding the lease agreement.
