BOARD OF COLTNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2024- O 5q <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A REVOCABLE LICENSE WITH THE MODEL <br />AIRPLANE CLUB FOR USE AT BOWERS FIELD <br />WHEREAS: There are various uses made of the County's property at Bowers Field Airport <br />which are consistent with the airport operation; and <br />WHEREAS: One use has been the Ellensburg RC Flyers model airplane club (RC Club) in a <br />designated location on the airport; and <br />WHEREAS: In an effort to both foster this use and avoid conflicts of use, a revocable license <br />(attached) has been written to identiff the scope and nature of the RC Club's use <br />of a portion of the Bowers Field Airport. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authonze execution of the attached revocable license <br />related to the use of the RC club at the County's Bowers Field Airporl. <br />DATED this 2nd day of April2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COIjNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS CO GTON <br />Chairman <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik ABSENT <br />Laura Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk o{the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner <br />Cot <br />a <br />7.
