<br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION No. 2024-_____ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE CENTRAL SERVICES COMMITTEE AS AN ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the county to share information and collaborate across <br />departments especially when the implementation of new projects, products, or <br />services could incur significant risk to the county or obligate the finite resources of <br />central service departments; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the county to develop standardized, comprehensive reporting for <br />our internally facing departments to provide decision-makers with a common <br />operating picture through which they can make informed decisions; and <br />WHEREAS, the Management Team has endorsed the establishment of a Central Services <br />Committee charged with providing project review and analysis and comprehensive <br />internal reporting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners hereby <br />establishes the Central Services Committee as an advisory committee to the Board of County <br />Commissioners, charged with the duties outlined in the Central Services Charter. The Management Team <br />shall review the work of the Central Services Committee no earlier than October 1st, 2024, and no later <br />than November 1st, 2024, and make recommendation to the BOCC as to whether the committee should <br />continue in its current form, be revised, or be dissolved. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Information Technology Committee is <br />dissolved, and all duties previously granted to the committee are assumed by the Central Services <br />Committee.
