KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: April 16, 2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request Boards approval to continue the Public hearing to May 7th at <br />2:00pm. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: In 2016 Kittitas County purchased the property as a portion of the <br />acquisition of Shady Brook. In 2019 a Boundary Line adjustment <br />was done to separate off parcel 403834. This parcel was leased on <br />July 1, 2019. The lease for the parcel is up on June 20, 2024, and the <br />county would like to surplus the property instead of continuing with <br />the leasing of the property. <br /> <br /> The minimum price for the property has previously been set at <br />$228,650 by the county Assessor and I would request that this <br />property be surplus to county needs and that we move to sell the <br />property at auction. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office, Treasurer and Solid Waste <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Recommend continuing the Public Hearing to May 7th at 2:00pm. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Director <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
