Kittitas County <br />District Court, Upper <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />4/16/2024 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Adoption of South Cle Elum Municipal Court Interlocal Agreement <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On 11/21/2023 the Town of South Cle Elum adopted Ordinance #642 - Creation of Municipal Court. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />Interlocal agreement has been approved by DPA Mitchell. The City Attorney is Jeff Slothower. Judge Juris <br />has been contracted to be the Municipal Court Judge. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend adoption of the Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and the Town of South Cle <br />Elum. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br />4 Signed copies are requested (1 BOCC, 1 Town of South Cle Elum, 1 District Court) <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Diana MacKenzie <br />
