2024-04-08 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING MONDAY 10:00 A.M. APRIL 8, 2024 <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz; and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Stephanie Hartung, <br />Chief Civil Deputy; Mark Cook, Public Works/CDS Director; Chad Bala, <br />CDS Director; and Josh Frederickson, Public Works Director. <br /> SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:02 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />into an Executive Session for 15 minutes under RCW 42.30.110 (i) To <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:17 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. There <br />was no action taken. <br /> <br />At 10:17 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith announced the Board would recess <br />back into Executive Session for 5 minutes under RCW 42.30.110 (i) To <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency.
