BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESoLUTToN No. ,9r " 4-047 <br />RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH <br />ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2024 <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 6,2024,to <br />furnish Asphalt Materials for 2024; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 22,2024, at2:00 p.m. at Kittitas County <br />Public Works and two (2) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bids of Granite <br />Construction Company and American Rock Products be accepted for Schedules <br />"A" and "B" to ensure availability of product; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2024 Asphalt Materials Schedules "A" <br />and ooB" to Granite Construction Company and American Rock Products to ensure availability of <br />product, upon such terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is authorized to sign the contract <br />documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />DATED this 5th day of March2024, at Ellensburg, Washington <br />BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Chairman <br />Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />ABSENT <br />Laura Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clqk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
