BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COLINTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />No. SoALl-b3l <br />AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT TO F'EHR AND PEERS <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE THE SCOPE OF WORI( <br />AND FEE AND TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF'THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />WHEREAS Public Works received a Safe Streets for All planning grant in 2023 to create a <br />comprehensive safety action plan for Snoqualmie Pass; and <br />WHEREAS:Public Works did advertise for professional services creating a comprehensive <br />safety action plan for Snoqualmie Pass; and <br />WHEREAS:Fehr and Peers was the single responder to the solicitation and Public works <br />has had a satisfactory working relationship with them on several past <br />agreements; and <br />WHEREAS:Following the award of the professional services agreement it is necessary to <br />negotiate a scope ofwork and fee for the service. <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners, after due <br />consideration, does hereby award Fehr and Peers the professional services agreement for creating <br />a comprehensive safety action plan for Snoqualmie Pass. <br />NOW' BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners does further <br />direct that the Director of Public Works shall negotiate the project scope of work and fee and <br />execute the agreement on behalf of the Board. <br />DATED this 6th day of February 2024, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY SHINGTON <br />Chairman <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />n Deputy Clerk of the Board- Mandy Buchholz <br />Cory Wright, Commissioner
