SPECIAL MEETING
WEDNESDAY 8:00 A.M. NOVEMBER 29, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett
Wachsmith and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Amy Cziske,
Treasurer; Mark Cook, Public Works/CDS Director; Karen Bowen, Clerk;
Brian Carlson, Budget & Finance Director; Andrew Yoder, Accountant
II; Trinity Potter, HR Rep.
SPECIAL MEETING CLOSED BARGAINING COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into a
Collective Bargaining - Closed Session with Amy Cziske, Treasurer;
Mark Cook, Public Works/CDS Director; Karen Bowen, Clerk; Brian
Carlson, Budget & Finance Director; Andrew Yoder, Accountant II;
Trinity Potter, HR Rep. - Pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(b), the OPMA
does not apply to that portion of a meeting during which the
governing body is planning or adopting the strategy or position to
be taken by the governing body during the course of any collective
bargaining, professional negotiations, or grievance or mediation
proceedings, or reviewing the proposals made in the negotiations or
proceedings while in progress.
At 8:45 a.m. the Board reconvened out of a Closed Bargaining
Session.
Direction was given to approve the Clerk’s Office request for Re-
Classification as discussed and to approve the Re-Classification of
two people in the Treasurer’s Office to an Accounting Assistant III
from Fiscal Tech II.
