STAFF REPORT
DATE: December 5, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider approval of a Resolution Authorizing Execution
of an amendment to a Basic Service Operating Contract
between SECO and K ittitas County.
BACKGROUND: Through the State 911 Coordination Office (SECO) and
using Enhanced 911 excise tax f unds, the Washington
Military Department has agreed to reimburse K ITTCOM
for upgrades to its emergency communications system in
the county.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutor’s Office was directed to draft the attached
resolution ad opting an amendment to the SECO Basic
Service Operating Contract for fiscal year 2024, to increase
the amount of funding necessary to accomplish the
reimbursement .
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the resolution and attached amendment to the
BSO .
ATTACHMENT: Resolution to Authorize Execution of an Amendment
to Basic Service Operating Contract E24-025 for State
Enhanced 911 Funds.
