AUTHORIZING THE SELECTION OF LAWHEAD ARCHITECTS P.S. FOR THE FIRE
STATION FLOODPLAIN COMPLIANCE PROJECT AI{D AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC
WORIG WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of Qualifications in
October 2023, for professional architectural and engineering services to bring an
existing fire station into compliance with National Flood Insurance Program; and
WHEREAS: Submittals were due on October 27,2023; and
WHEREAS: One (1) qualified firm submitted their qualifications for review; and
WHEREAS: A team of Kittitas County Public Works and Fire District 7 staff reviewed the
submittal and recommends Lawhead Architects P.S. be selected for the Fire Station
Floodplain Compliance Project;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kiffitas
County, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby select Lawhead Architects P.S.
for the Fire Station Floodplain Compliance Project and authorize the Public Works Water Resource
Manager to negotiate and sign the professional services agreement.
