PROCLAMATION
“Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team Day”
November 28, 2023
WIAA 2B Academic State Champions – Fall 2023
WHEREAS: the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team are the 2023 WIAA 2B Fall Academic State
Champions; and
WHEREAS: their team has maintained an average GPA of 3.810 throughout their season and the Kittitas County
Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the following athletes for their academic achievement: Caroline
Smith, Maddie Casto, Olivia Coder, Cara Coleman, Jamesyn Risher, Ella Singer, Hope Weeda, Allie Lashua, Norah
Nicholls, Hailee Hawk, Mia Vroman, Monica Leers, Eliana Coder, Riley Robinson, Ava Hayes, Nellie Nicholls,
Jadison Wallick, Rylee Keller, Grace Weeda, and Danika Spencer; and
WHEREAS: the soccer team had a very successful season and were 19-1 during their regular season and earned the
title of EWAC 2B League Champions, followed by playing in Districts and as a State qualifier; and
WHEREAS: the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team serve as leaders and ambassadors for their
school and community while demonstrating hard work, dedication, and commitment to the importance of academics;
and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to request that
the citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the Girls Soccer Team by Proclaiming November
28, 2023, as “Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team Day”, recognizing them for their accomplishment of
being the 2023 Fall WIAA 2B Academic State Champions.
ADOPTED this 21st day of November 2023.
