<br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />“Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team Day” <br />November 28, 2023 <br />WIAA 2B Academic State Champions – Fall 2023 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team are the 2023 WIAA 2B Fall Academic State <br />Champions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: their team has maintained an average GPA of 3.810 throughout their season and the Kittitas County <br />Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the following athletes for their academic achievement: Caroline <br />Smith, Maddie Casto, Olivia Coder, Cara Coleman, Jamesyn Risher, Ella Singer, Hope Weeda, Allie Lashua, Norah <br />Nicholls, Hailee Hawk, Mia Vroman, Monica Leers, Eliana Coder, Riley Robinson, Ava Hayes, Nellie Nicholls, <br />Jadison Wallick, Rylee Keller, Grace Weeda, and Danika Spencer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the soccer team had a very successful season and were 19-1 during their regular season and earned the <br />title of EWAC 2B League Champions, followed by playing in Districts and as a State qualifier; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team serve as leaders and ambassadors for their <br />school and community while demonstrating hard work, dedication, and commitment to the importance of academics; <br />and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to request that <br />the citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the Girls Soccer Team by Proclaiming November <br />28, 2023, as “Cle Elum-Roslyn High School Girls Soccer Team Day”, recognizing them for their accomplishment of <br />being the 2023 Fall WIAA 2B Academic State Champions. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 21st day of November 2023. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> Cory Wright, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
