AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 21st, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) allocate
$214,058 for the Internal Operation Applications as listed below and
approve Board signature on the corresponding Agreements. Approve
A Resolution Authorizing Execution of Internal Contracts for Award
of LTAC Funding
BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met on October 11,
2023, and in an open public meeting to discuss and review grant
applications for Internal Operations.
INTERACTION: The LTAC voted unanimously to recommend to the BOCC funding
for the projects listed under recommendation below in the amount of
$214,058 at their meeting on 10/11/2023.
$108,695 to Kittitas County Auditor for 2023 LTAC Operational
Costs
$105,363 to Kittitas County Auditor for 2024 LTAC Operational
Costs
$214,058
Contracts have been approved through PA Office on 11, 2023. Legal
Request #10221
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC allocate $214,058 from the Hotel/Motel funding
for Internal Operations for contracts LT-2023-002-KCA-Internal
Operations-2023 and LT-2024-001-KCA-Internal Operations-2024
and through approval of Board signature on the corresponding
Agreements. Approve A Resolution Authorizing Execution of
Internal Contracts for Award of LTAC Funding.
