Home My WebLink AboutRES 2023-190BOARD OF' COLINTY COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF'KITTITAS STATE OF WASHINGTON RESOLUTION No.20n- / q D TO AWARD THE BID FOR MANUF'ACTURED HOME, BARII, ARENA, AIID GARAGE DEMOLITION AND AUTHORIZf,.TIJE PUBLIC WORIG WATER RESOURCE MANAGER TO BXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS WHEREAS: A Small Works Solicitation was issued on October 76,2023, to contractors listed on the Small Works Roster that participated in a project site visit on January 19,2023, for manufactured home, barn, arena, and garage demolition; and WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened publicly on October 30,2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kittitas County Public Works Office; and WHEREAS: The proposed demolition project is budgeted in the Flood Control Zone District's2023 budget; and WHEREAS: Six (6) bids were received for the prescribed work. The Water Resource Manager recommends the responsive bid from Skycorp, Ltd be accepted. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County, Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for Manufactured Home, Barn, Arena, and Garage Demolition to Skycorp, LTD and authorizes the Public Works Water Resources Manager to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s).
