2023 AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Award the bid for
Manufactured Home, Bam, Arena, and Garage Demolition
to Skycorp, LTD and authorize the Public Works Water
Resource Manager to sign the contract documents upon
such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal
submitted by said bidder(s).
BACKGROUND: Kittitas County issued a Small Works Solicitation on
October 16, 2023, for manufactured home, barn, arena, and
garage demolition. This solicitation was sent to contractors
listed on the Small Works Roster that participated in a
project site visit on January 19, 2023. Sealed bids were
opened publicly on October 30, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. Six (6)
bids were received for the prescribed work. The Water
Resource Manager recommends the responsive bid from
Skycorp, Ltd be accepted.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution to Award the bid for Manufactured
Home, Barn, Arena, and Garage Demolition to Skycorp,
LTD and authorize the Public Works Water Resources
Manager to sign the contract documents upon such terms
and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said
bidder(s).
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

TO AWARD THE BID FOR MANUFACTURED HOME, BARN, ARENA, AND GARAGE
DEMOLITION AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC WORKS WATER RESOURCE MANAGER
TO EXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS: A Small Works Solicitation was issued on October 16, 2023, to contractors listed on the
Small Works Roster that participated in a project site visit on January 19, 2023, for
manufactured home, barn, arena, and garage demolition; and
WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened publicly on October 30, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kittitas County
Public Works Office; and
WHEREAS: The proposed demolition project is budgeted in the Flood Control Zone District's 2023
budget; and
WHEREAS: Six (6) bids were received for the prescribed work. The Water Resource Manager
recommends the responsive bid from Skycorp, Ltd be accepted.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas County,
Washington, in the best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for Manufactured Home, Barn,
Arena, and Garage Demolition to Skycorp, LTD and authorizes the Public Works Water Resources
Manager to sign the contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal
submitted by said bidder(s).
