BUDGET MEETING MINUTES
BOCC AUDITORIUM ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 215 - ELLENSBURG
Wednesday 1:00 PM October 4, 2023
Board members present: Brett Wachsmith, Laura Osiadacz
Others: Brian Carlson, Zack DeHaven, Todd Davis
1. Call to order: 1:00pm
2. Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit): None
3. Noxious Weed Budget
Mr. Carlson reviewed the Noxious budget and history. A realitively minor increase in budget
total was primarily explained as a result of rising cost of personnel, and a changing method in
allocation of technology related expense. Comissioner Wachsmith expressed a desire to see
2023 actual numbers to date in future presentations. Commissioner Wachsmith and
Commissioner Osiadacz announced an informal consensus of approval of the Noxious Weed
expense budget of $550,076 as presented. Mr. Carlson apprised the board of this year’s county
wide methodolgy for presentation documents. County wide materials were presented as a
preveiw to familiarize the board for future meetings.
