KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: October 3rd, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to approve acceptance of the BJA FY23 COSSUP <br />Grant for $797,044.00 <br />BACKGROUND: The purpose of this grant is to fund a project that will serve those <br />incarcerated in Kittitas County Jail that will expand and enhance evidence -based <br />medication for opioid use disorder, as well as recovery support services within the <br />Kittitas County Jail. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved this amendment. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to approve acceptance of the grant, and to authorize <br />Lieutenant Buntin to accept the reward on behalf of Kittitas County. <br />HANDLING: No handling. <br />LEAD STAFF: Lieutenant Ed Buntin <br />
