AGENDA DATE: October 3, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the KZ Freehold Long Plat
(LPF-23-00005 & LL-21-00002).
BACKGROUND: The KZ Freehold Large Lot Plat was approved administratively on May 12, 2022
with findings of Fact and conclusions of law as required by KCC 16.36 and KCC
16.12. The plat covers approximately 162.41 acres accessed via Wilson Creek Road.
The applicant submitted the final plat application on August 4, 2023, requesting final
mylar approval for the KZ Freehold Large Lot Plat. This Plat creates seven (7) 20
acre lots and one (1) 24 acre lot with access via a private road off Wilson Creek
Road. Staff reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that
it is consistent with the preliminary approval documents. The mylar has been
reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been obtained.
INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, Public
Health, and Assessor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the BOCC Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the KZ Freehold
Large Lot Plat (LPF-23-00005 & LL-21-00002).
HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer
signature and recording.
