COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY 8:00 A.M. SEPTEMBER 14, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Webex - Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Mark Cook, Public
Works/CDS Director.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into
an Executive Session with Director Cook, under RCW 42.30.110 (b) To
consider the selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate
by lease or purchase when public knowledge regarding such
consideration would cause a likelihood of increased price, for 30
minutes. Action was anticipated.
At 8:30 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No
action taken.
At 8:30 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess back
into Executive Session under RCW 42.30.110 (b) To consider the
selection of a site or the acquisition of real estate by lease or
purchase when public knowledge regarding such consideration would
cause a likelihood of increased price, for 10 minutes. Action was
anticipated.
At 8:40 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Chairman Wright moved to direct Staff to tentatively set up a time
for the Board to have a meeting/press conference towards the end of
September. Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
Meeting adjourned at 8:41 a.m.
