BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2023-_______ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A HOMELESS HOUSING <br />PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE COLD WEATHER SHELTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee met at <br />their regularly scheduled meeting on October 2, 2023, and voted unanimously <br />for the below described funding recommendation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County has previously contracted with Kittitas Valley Ministerial <br />Association and HopeSource, a non-profit organization; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to aid $99,683.50 (ninety-nine thousand six-hundred <br />eighty-three dollars and fifty cents) in funding of the Cold Weather Shelter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to contract with Kittitas Valley Ministerial Association <br />and HopeSource. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners <br />authorizes the execution of the attached Homeless Housing Grant Agreement <br />following the recommendations as made by the Homelessness and Affordable <br />Housing Committee with Kittitas Valley Ministerial Association and <br />HopeSource for the provisions of the Cold Weather Shelter. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />DATED this __________ day of _____________, 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />Cory Wright, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br />Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk of the Board
