RESOLUTION NO. 2023-_______
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A HOMELESS HOUSING
PROGRAM GRANT AGREEMENT FOR THE COLD WEATHER SHELTER
WHEREAS: The Kittitas County Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee met at
their regularly scheduled meeting on October 2, 2023, and voted unanimously
for the below described funding recommendation; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County has previously contracted with Kittitas Valley Ministerial
Association and HopeSource, a non-profit organization; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to aid $99,683.50 (ninety-nine thousand six-hundred
eighty-three dollars and fifty cents) in funding of the Cold Weather Shelter; and
WHEREAS: Kittitas County desires to contract with Kittitas Valley Ministerial Association
and HopeSource.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners
authorizes the execution of the attached Homeless Housing Grant Agreement
following the recommendations as made by the Homelessness and Affordable
Housing Committee with Kittitas Valley Ministerial Association and
HopeSource for the provisions of the Cold Weather Shelter.
