RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - , 59
ADOPTING AN ANNUAL CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM FOR 2024
WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81.130, the County Engineer has prepared an
Annual Construction Program for 2024; and
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has reviewed and updated the County's
priority road construction program incorporating current bridge inspection
findings; and
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has access to Public Works priority scoring
arcay and2}22Bridge Inspection Report and said documents were utilized by
staff preparing the proposed 2024 Annual Construction Program; and
WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment via press release along with holding two
open house meetings; and
WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was opened on September 19,2023, at2:00 p.m. in the
Commissioners' Auditorium concerning adoption of the said Annual Construction
Program for 2024; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due
consideration, does hereby adopt the said Annual Construction Program for 2024,
hereto attached, as now submitted by the Kittitas County Director of Public
Works and County Engineer.
ADOPTED this 19th day of September 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington.
