RESOLUTION NO. 2023 - 6T
ADOPTING A SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE
YEARS 2024-2029
WHEREAS: In accordance with R.C.W. 36.81 .l2l,the County Engineer has prepared the
2024-2029 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan for the ensuing six-year
period; and
WHEREAS: The Board of County Commissioners has access to Public Works priority scoring
arcay and2022Widge Inspection Report and said documents were utilized by
staff preparing this Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan; and
WHEREAS: Public Works solicited public comment via press release along with holding two
open house meetings; and
WHEREAS: A Public Hearing was opened on September 19, 2023, at2:00 p.m. in the
Commissioners' Auditorium concerning adoption of the said Transportation
Improvement Plan; and
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, after due
consideration, does hereby adopt the said 2024-2029 Six-Year Transportation
Improvement Plan, hereto attached, as now submitted by the Kittitas County
Director of Public Works and County Engineer.
ADOPTED this 19th day of September 2023, at Ellensburg, Washington.
