COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES
KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON
CONFERENCE ROOM
SPECIAL MEETING
FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. SEPTEMBER 8, 2023
Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice Chairman Brett
Wachsmith. Excused - Commissioner Laura Osiadacz.
Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Mark Cook, Public
Works/CDS Director; Stephanie Hartung, Chief Deputy Prosecutor.
SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 8:00 a.m. Chairman Wright announced the Board would recess into
an Executive Session under RCW 42.30.110 (i) To discuss with legal
counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency
enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing
the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency,
the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is,
or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the
discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial
consequence to the agency, for 20 minutes. Action was anticipated.
At 8:20 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
Chairman Wright moved to direct Staff to draft enabling documents
complying with Growth Management Hearings Board decision for Case
No. 23-1-0002C, rescinding of Ordinance No. 2022-017 Item #22-25.
Commissioner Wachsmith seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
Meeting adjourned at 8:21 a.m.
