SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith. Excused - Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Office Administrator; Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board; Kate Jimenez, Administrative Assistant; Brian Carlson, <br />Budget and Finance Director and three members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />Meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending September 1, 2023. <br /> <br />CITIZEN COMMENT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Member’s of the Airport Advisory Committee present were Brian <br />McElroy, Nancy Lilliquist and Aaron Greear who expressed confusion <br />over the recent dissolution of the Airport Department. They felt <br />they had made a lot of progress and were disappointed in how it was <br />handled as they were not advised ahead of time included in the <br />matter. <br /> <br />LETTER GOLD CREEK BRIDGE - USFS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve Board signature on a letter <br />to the USFS Joseph Rausch, District Ranger regarding Support of the <br />Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest’s Grant Proposal to Replace Gold <br />Creek Bridges on Forest Service Road (FSR) 4832, as presented. <br />Chairman Wright seconded. Motion carried 2-0.
