BUDGET MEETING MINUTES
BOCC AUDITORIUM ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 215 - ELLENSBURG
Friday 1:30PM October 07, 2022

Yoder, Tracy Koga, Todd Davis, Julie Forinash, Jeanne Killgore
1. Call to order: 1:30pm
2. Citizen Comments (1 min. time limit): None
3. Coroner Budget discussed
Mr. Henderson reviewed the Coroner Office budget, noting a reduction in reimbursable autopsy
services from State of WA. He introduced a request for design funds for a new facility. After
discussion with BOCC it was recommended to consider this proposal o utside of budget
appropriation hearings, so as to ensure due diligence.
4. Noxious Weed Budget
Mr. Davis reviewed the department budget proposal and history.
5. Auditor Budget
Mr. Carlson and Mr. Petit reviewed the office budget and provided a historic view to expenses,
revenues, and drivers of each. Mr. Carlson requested an additional $50K above scheduled
personnel increases so as to re-scope existing staff positions and tasks.
