Arden Thomas <br />stepped to the microphone and reviewed the language changes being considered for water mitigation regarding <br />cistern water suppliers and short plat requirements for water. All the water codes with minimal changes or <br />language change are listed below: <br />13.03.020- Cistern System <br />13.03.110-Individual Water System <br />13.03.XX-Road (New definition for Road added) <br />12.03.230-Water Quality Test <br />13.20.030-Notification <br />13.20.040-Well Location and Access <br />13.25.020-Applicability <br />13.25.080-Cistern System: Source Requirements <br />13.30.080-Group B Water System -Bonding <br />13.35.020-Applicability <br />13.40.010-Eligability <br />A copy of the redline water code was sent off to stakeholders in February. They were given thirty days to review <br />and reply with any concerns or recommendations. Any recommendations were considered and/or incorporated <br />into the redline document. Jesse reviewed all recommended changes and asked the board to approve the changes <br />to the Kittitas County Water Code. <br />The group discussed some of the recommended changes and staff answered questions. Commissioner Wright <br />asked for the definition of "Road" and questioned adequate water determination for platting and building process. <br />Jesse addressed both questions. <br />Public comment open at 10:28 am <br />Fred Talerico stepped to the microphone and stated that he has a class B well and has recently received a bill for <br />his well and wondered where the county was getting this fee from. There was nothing on the bill that states how <br />much water was used and would like to be contacted with some information. <br />
