Stepping forward to serve in a remarkable spirit of unity, honor, and compassion, this
year’s September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance projects will help strengthen our communities
while memorializing the events of that fateful day, and;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of Kittitas County Commissioners do
hereby proclaim September 11th a Day of Service and Remembrance in Kittitas County, Washington, and call
upon our citizens to honor the lives of those lost by participating in community service and remembrance
ceremonies on this day and throughout the year.
Adopted this 5th day of September 2023.
KITTITAS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

Cory Wright, Chairman
ATTEST:

Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman

Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner
