AGENDA DATE: September 5, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to set a Public Hearing on September 19, 2023, at
2:00 pm local time, to consider the adoption of the Six Year
Transportation Improvement Program for 2024-2029 and
the Annual Construction Program for 2024
BACKGROUND: Public Works has prepared a Six Year Transportation
Improvement Program for 2024-2029 and the Annual
Construction Program for 2024.
Each year Public Works solicits public comment on the
annual and six -year plan. Public Works conducted two
open house meetings one on August 28, 2023, in Upper
County and one on August 29, 2023, in Lower County. In
addition to the open house format, the annual and six -year
plan is posted on the Public Works webpage along with a
comment form.
Any revisions to the Six Year Transportation Improvement
Plan or annual plan based on public comment will be
presented at the hearing.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing on September 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
to consider adopting the Six Year Transportation program
for 2024-2029 and the Annual Construction Program for
2024.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, WA to consider the Adoption of the
Six Year Transportation Improvement Program for 2024-2029 and the Annual Construction Program for 2024.
