AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: September 5th, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) allocate
$89,600.15 for the Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects
as listed below and approve Board signature on the corresponding
Agreements. Approve A Resolution Adopting the Distribution of the
2023 Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital
Projects Grant Funds.
BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met on June 14,
2023, and in an open public meeting to discuss and review grant
applications for Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects
and Operations.
INTERACTION: The LTAC voted unanimously to recommend to the BOCC funding
for the projects listed under recommendation below in the amount of
$89,600.15.
$39,600.15 to KVEC for Outdoor LED lighting
$50,000 to City of Ellensburg Unity Park Shade Tents
$89,600.15
Contracts have been approved through PA Office on August 21st
2023. SR #10059
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC allocate $89,600.15 from the Hotel/Motel funding
for Small-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects for contracts
LT-SS-2023-001-KVEC and LT-SS-2023-002-Ellensburg-Unity-
Park-Shade-Tents through approval of Board signature on the
corresponding Agreements. Approve A Resolution Adopting the
Distribution of the 2023 Tourism-Related, Small-Scale Municipality-
Owned Capital Projects Grant Funds.
