AUTHORTZTNG THE SELECTTON OF CONSOLTDATED COMMUNTCATTONS, rNC.
FOR DESIGN AND BUILD OF'BROADBAND NETWORKS IN THE THORP AI\D
EDGEMONT T]NINCORPORATED AREAS OF KITTITAS COT]NTY AI\D
AUTHORIZETHE PUBLIC WORIG DIRECTOR TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE A
PROF'ESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT F'OR SAID PROJECT
WHEREAS:Kittitas County Public Works advertised a Request for Statement of
Qualifications for the Design and Build of Broadband Networks in the Thorp and
Edgemont Unincorporated Areas of Kittitas County in April and May of 2023;
and
WHEREAS: Submittals were due on June 2, 2023;and
WHEREAS: Two (2) qualified firms submitted their qualifications for review; and
WHEREAS: A team of Kittitas County staff reviewed the submittals and recommends
Consolidated Communications, Inc. to be the selected firm for said services.
NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the best
interest of the public, does hereby select Consolidated Communications,Inc. for
Design and Build of Broadband Networks in the Thorp and Edgemont
Unincorporated Areas of Kittitas County and authorize the Public Works
Director to Negotiate and Execute a Professional Services Agreement for said
project.
