AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a modification to the awarded grant
funding previously approved.
BACKGROUND: Contract/Grant Summary: State funding was allocated to Kittitas
County Jail for hiring an additional nurse, as well as supplies to help with detection and
mitigation of COVID-19. This amendment extends the project end date to June 30, 2024.
The total awarded is $471,750.
INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the Kittitas
County Prosecutor's Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge a modification to the awarded grant funding
previously approved.
HANDLING: KCSO will provide a fully executed agreement to the BOCC upon signature
of WASPC.
