ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to Approve a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 1/10th of 1%
Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax, and Request to
Publish the Public Notice
BACKGROUND:
The 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax
Advisory Board has been working on this Request for Proposal (RFP)
and is pleased to present it to the BoCC for consideration and
approval. The template used was from the Kittitas County
Homelessness and Affordable Housing Committee’s 2021 RFP.
Changes made include adding the SMART Goals requirement and
successful benchmarks that will correspond with grantees’ reporting
requirements at 6, 12, 18, and 24 months. Upon BoCC approval, the
application will be made public on September 1st. To apply,
applicants will use an accessible online webform in Qualtrics.
Deadline to apply is October 9, 2023.
The Public Notice will be published on 8/31/23 in The Daily Record
and Northern Kittitas County Tribune, and again in The Daily Record
on 9/1/23.
INTERACTION:
The 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax
Advisory Board has guided and reviewed this document over the last
two months, developing definitions and refining the application
questions.

Approve Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 1/10th of 1% Mental
Health and Chemical Dependency Tax
Approve Request to Publish Public Notice for the RFP
