AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, August 15, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge the one-year Agreement between
Archimedes Machining, Inc., also known as Cross Valley National Training Center and
Kittitas County Sheriff s Office.
BACKGROUND: This agreement is for one-year from the date of signature and
allows the users to use the site for training. The training site is a large firearms range
with multiple training areas available. The facility will meet all of our firearms training
needs and there is not another facility like it in the county.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge the one-year Agreement between
Archimedes Machining, Inc., also known as Cross Valley National Training Center and
Kittitas County Sheriffs Office.
HANDLING: Sheriffs Office to obtain signatures and return one fully executed original
to BOCC.
LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
