ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's
Error on Resolution 2023-070 Adopting an Equipment
Rental and Revolving Fund Policy for Use in Fund Number
501
BACKGROUND: Under Resolution 2023-070, the Board of County
Commissioners adopted an Equipment Rental and
Revolving Fund Policy for Use in Fund Number 501.
During this process the Fund Number of 501 was
incorrectly listed as Fund Number 105. Public Works is
requesting to correct said scrivener's error to reflect the
correct Fund Number of 501 as originally intended.
INTERACTION: Public Works.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's Error on
Resolution 2023-070 Adopting an Equipment Rental and
Revolving Fund Policy for Use in Fund Number 501.
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works.

RESOLUTION NO. 2023 -
CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR ON RESOLUTION 2023-070 ADOPTING AN
EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND REVOLVING FUND POLICY FOR USE IN FUND
NUMBER 501
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution 2023-070 Adopted an Equipment Rental and
Revolving Fund Policy for Use in Fund Number 501; and
WHEREAS: After Resolution 2023-070 was approved an error was discovered in the
identification of the Fund Number (105); and
WHEREAS: This Resolution is intended to correct the scrivener's error in Resolution 2023-
070 to reflect the correct Fund Number as Fund Number 501; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby approve this Resolution correcting the scrivener's error in
Resolution 2023-070 Adopting an Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund Policy for Use in Fund
Number 501.
