ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County
Equipment.

BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office requests a public hearing be set
to declare equipment surplus to the county. RCW 36.34.010
authorizes the Board of County Commissioners to decide whether
county-owned real or personal property is surplus to the needs of the
County and whether disposal would be in the best interest of the
County.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office has reviewed and approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to Consider Surplus of County Equipment.
