SHERIFF'S STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Regular Meeting
WEDNESDAY 1 8:02 AM June 7, 2023
Board members present:
Chairman Cory Wright, Commissioner Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Brett Wachsmith.
Others: Sheriff Clay Myers; Sheriff's Office and Mark Cook; Director of Public Works.
Citizens Comments: None.
Update on EOC: Director Cook explained that the grant number is holding things up and gave
the Board update on building, ground, and water supply. Mentioned that they are in the
environmental process. A drain assessment will need to be done. There are some steps that need
to be done first, but hopefully start in fall of 2024.
Other Business: Commissioner Osiadacz asked how the Upper County is with the Deputy.
Sheriff Myers mentioned that Sgt. Goeman had placed a speed radar in Upper County. Also,
concerned about the upcoming I-90 construction in Vantage that will be a huge concern to both
Kittitas and Vantage Highways.
