AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2023
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a Lease Agreement between Copiers
Northwest, Inc., and Kittitas County.
BACKGROUND: Our department currently holds a lease with Copiers NW for 4
machines and has found their machines and service to be superior to
the Xerox machine we are currently leasing for use by the Admin
Clerical staff. The Xerox machine simply isn't meeting our needs for
the types, volume, and quality of work we need to produce. It is our
intent to transfer that machine to the Fire Marshal once this new
machine is in place. The machine is on the NASPO contract,
whereby a formal bid process is not needed.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved
this lease agreement.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge a Lease Agreement between Copiers Northwest, Inc.,
and Kittitas County.
HANDLING: Sheriff's Office to provide a fully executed Agreement to the BOCC
upon signature by Copiers NW.
