KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2023 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve to advertise a call for bid for the Upper District <br />Court Parking Lot Project. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Kittitas County Upper District Court parking lot has a section of the <br />that has settled and creating an area for standing water and ice, which is causing the <br />asphalt in this area to fail. <br /> <br />In addition, we have conducted a review of the parking lot and ramps to the building and <br />determined that maintenance to these areas is needed. <br /> <br />The project will also include adding a fence along the west property line and a new <br />flagpole for the building. <br /> <br />In working with our on-call consultant SCJ Alliance we have developed plans for the <br />repairs that have been approved by the City of Cle Elum and are ready to go out to bid. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Patti Stacey Facilities & Waste Operation Director, SCJ Alliance <br />and City of Cle Elum. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approval by Board to Advertise Call for Bid. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Clerk of the Board to Advertise. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Advertisement <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Patti Stacey, Facilities & Waste Operations Director. <br />
