ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's
Error on Resolution 2023-116 Authorizing the Execution of
an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas
County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation
of the Voluntary Stewardship Program
BACKGROUND: On July 10, 2023, under Resolution 2023-116, the Board of
County Commissioners Authorized the Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas
County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation
of the Voluntary Stewardship Program.
After processing of documents, it was discovered that the title
of Resolution 2023-116 was incorrect and should have
reflected the Execution of a Contract with the Washington
State Conservation Commission for the Implementation of the
Voluntary Stewardship Program.
This action corrects said scrivener's error and allows for staff
to work with Kittitas County Conservation District on an
Interlocal for support of the Voluntary Stewardship Program.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's Error on
Resolution 2023-116 Authorizing the Execution of an
Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas
County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation
of the Voluntary Stewardship Program
HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works for Community
Development Services.

CORRECTING A SCRIVENER'S ERROR ON RESOLUTION 2023-116
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN
KITTITAS COUNTY AND KITTITAS COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VOLUNTARY STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS: Kittitas County Resolution 2023-116 authorized the execution of an Interlocal
Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Conservation District for
Implementation of the Voluntary Stewardship Program; and
WHEREAS: After Resolution 2023-116 was approved an error in the title of said Resolution was
discovered; and
WHEREAS: Said Action was to Authorize the Execution of a Contract between Kittitas County
and the Washington State Conservation Commission for the Implementation of the
Voluntary Stewardship Program; and
WHEREAS: This Resolution is intended to correct the scrivener's error in Resolution 2023-116
to reflect the correct title and action for the Implementation of the Voluntary
Stewardship Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners, in the
best interest of the public, does hereby approve this Resolution correcting the scrivener's error in
Resolution 2023-116.
