KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES <br />2023 AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2023 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's <br />Error on Resolution 2023-116 Authorizing the Execution of <br />an Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation <br />of the Voluntary Stewardship Program <br />BACKGROUND: On July 10, 2023, under Resolution 2023-116, the Board of <br />County Commissioners Authorized the Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation <br />of the Voluntary Stewardship Program. <br />After processing of documents, it was discovered that the title <br />of Resolution 2023-116 was incorrect and should have <br />reflected the Execution of a Contract with the Washington <br />State Conservation Commission for the Implementation of the <br />Voluntary Stewardship Program. <br />This action corrects said scrivener's error and allows for staff <br />to work with Kittitas County Conservation District on an <br />Interlocal for support of the Voluntary Stewardship Program. <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Washington State <br />Conservation Commission <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Correcting a Scrivener's Error on <br />Resolution 2023-116 Authorizing the Execution of an <br />Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County and Kittitas <br />County Conservation District for Continuing Implementation <br />of the Voluntary Stewardship Program <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works for Community <br />Development Services. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
