ACTION REQUESTED:
Request to approve Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) Sub -Contract
between Kristi Hunziker and Juvenile Court Services.
BACKGROUND:
Washington Juvenile Law provides a disposition (sentencing) alternative for qualifying
juvenile sex offenders called SSODA (RCW 13.40.162). The program is implemented
through our CJS Block Grant with the Department of Children, Youth, and Families
(DCYF). This professional services agreement is to ensure a qualified treatment provider
exists to serve Kittitas County Juvenile Court Services. This is a long-standing service
provider relationship repeated on an annual basis and is funded through the CJS Block
Grant.
INTERACTION:
The Prosecutor's Office has reviewed and approved as to form the contract (Prosecutor
Review Number #27804).
RECOMMENDATION:
Approve Special Sex Offender Disposition Alternative (SSODA) Sub -Contract with
licensed provider.
HANDLING:
Request 1 copy with signatures returned to Katrina Mankus. The original to be filed with
the BoCC.
