RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING BYLAWS OF THE 1/10TH OF 1% MENTAL
HEALTH AND CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TAX ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2022-185 established the Kittitas County 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and
Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board (“the Board”) to develop the goals, objectives, and metrics
for the use of funds generated by the mental health and chemical dependency tax; and
WHEREAS, the Board has been meeting since May 2023, developing a mission statement, bylaws, and a
Request for Proposals draft; and
WHEREAS, the mission of the 1/10th of 1% Mental Health & Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory
Board is to positively impact the process of change in which individuals improve their health and
wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential; and
WHEREAS, on June 29, 2023, the Board approved and adopted its bylaws.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves and
adopts the Kittitas County 1/10th of 1% Mental Health and Chemical Dependency Tax Advisory Board
Bylaws as presented.
