AIRPORT STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Discussion: Leasing Amendments
Director Ohl updated the commissioners on the new lease amendments. Prosecutor Caulkins is
currently working on drafting up the lease amendments as well as the resolutions. If these lease
amendments. Director Ohl also added that the resolution will allow for lease amendments to be
signed by the airport director to streamline the process and to not clog up the consent agenda.
No objection by the commissioners were made.
Discussion: AAC Annual Review
.Director Ohl made the board aware of the Airport Advisory Committee final report is coming
up. The committee is currently working on the draft and should be ready for commissioners
review on February 1st.
Discussion: JUB
Director Ohl informed the commissioners that JUB has officially signed on as the consultant for
Kittitas County Airport. The director had a meeting with the JUB team to discuss the next ten
years and what that is going to look like for the airport. JUB is hoping to get a jumpstart on the
construction portion for the airfield.
Discussion: 2023 Budget
Director Ohl was looking for of an understanding of what the airport budget is supposed to look
like. He informed the commissioners that he will be setting up a meeting with Finance Director
Brian Carlson to discuss the 2023 budget for Bowers Field Airport.
