2023-01-9 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MONDAY 11:00 AM January 9, 2023 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright, Vice Char Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith <br />Others: Terry LaRue <br />Discussion: Leasing Amendments <br />Director Ohl updated the commissioners on the new lease amendments. Prosecutor Caulkins is <br />currently working on drafting up the lease amendments as well as the resolutions. If these lease <br />amendments. Director Ohl also added that the resolution will allow for lease amendments to be <br />signed by the airport director to streamline the process and to not clog up the consent agenda. <br />No objection by the commissioners were made. <br />Discussion: AAC Annual Review <br />.Director Ohl made the board aware of the Airport Advisory Committee final report is coming <br />up. The committee is currently working on the draft and should be ready for commissioners <br />review on February 1st. <br />Discussion: JUB <br />Director Ohl informed the commissioners that JUB has officially signed on as the consultant for <br />Kittitas County Airport. The director had a meeting with the JUB team to discuss the next ten <br />years and what that is going to look like for the airport. JUB is hoping to get a jumpstart on the <br />construction portion for the airfield. <br />Discussion: 2023 Budget <br />Director Ohl was looking for of an understanding of what the airport budget is supposed to look <br />like. He informed the commissioners that he will be setting up a meeting with Finance Director <br />Brian Carlson to discuss the 2023 budget for Bowers Field Airport. <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br />Citizens Comments: <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:30 am <br />
