AIRPORT STUDY SESSION MINUTES

Request to Rescind One Year T-Hangar Resolution
Director Ohl requested to rescind the old T-Hangar resolution and replace it with a new
resolution for T-Hangar rental agreements. By approving the resolution, it would allow for easier
admin work for both the airport and the commissioners. The board consulted with Prosecutor
Neil Caulkins on how to move forward. It was recommended by Neil that the board can act
through resolution, ordinance, and public hearing, as long as it is reflected in the meeting
minutes. From this recommendation, the commissioners acted on approving the new T-Hangar
leases for public hearing on April 4th. The motion passed. The airport will advertise for the April
4th public hearing.
Request to Approve Leasing Resolution
Director Ohl looked to approve a leasing resolution that would give the airport direction
administrative authority for anything that has changed for current approved leases. This way, the
airport wont have to ask for approval over small changes to the lease like rental rate increases. A
motion was introduced to approve the leasing resolution. The motion passed.

SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS
At 11:14 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced the Board would
recess into an Executive Session for 10 minutes, until 11:24 a.m. with Vice-Chairman Laura
Osiadacz, Commissioner Brett Wachsmith, Director David Ohl, and Prosecutor Neil Caulkins to
consider RCW 42.30.110(b). To consider the minimum price at which real estate will be offered
for sale or lease when public knowledge regarding such consideration would cause a likelihood
of increased price. No action is anticipated.
At 11:24 am the session was extended to 11:34 am. No action was taken
At 11:24 a.m. Chairman Wright continued a Special Meeting and announced the Board would

At 11:47 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Action: Direction of Staff to work
through obstacles and come back with a report at a later time.
