<br />2023-03-13 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />AIRPORT STUDY SESSION MINUTES <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM, 205 WEST 5TH ROOM 108 - ELLENSBURG <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />MONDAY 11:00 AM March 13, 2023 <br />Board members present: Chair Cory Wright, Vice Chair Laura Osiadacz, Commissioner Brett <br />Wachsmith <br />Others: David Ohl, Codi Fortier, Neil Caulkins <br />Request to Rescind One Year T-Hangar Resolution <br />Director Ohl requested to rescind the old T-Hangar resolution and replace it with a new <br />resolution for T-Hangar rental agreements. By approving the resolution, it would allow for easier <br />admin work for both the airport and the commissioners. The board consulted with Prosecutor <br />Neil Caulkins on how to move forward. It was recommended by Neil that the board can act <br />through resolution, ordinance, and public hearing, as long as it is reflected in the meeting <br />minutes. From this recommendation, the commissioners acted on approving the new T-Hangar <br />leases for public hearing on April 4th. The motion passed. The airport will advertise for the April <br />4th public hearing. <br />Request to Approve Leasing Resolution <br />Director Ohl looked to approve a leasing resolution that would give the airport direction <br />administrative authority for anything that has changed for current approved leases. This way, the <br />airport wont have to ask for approval over small changes to the lease like rental rate increases. A <br />motion was introduced to approve the leasing resolution.
